Little Treasure Boxes

This video shows an alternative method, how to use encaustic. These "treasure boxes" all have been painted by encaustic, and their surface has been treated with a permanent protective acrylic sealer for lasting beauty. Avoid exposure to excessive heat! Watch it with on YouTube, please!

I got a small package today: a book about encaustic, written by Marketa Lukacova, who is a Czech encaustic artist. 
She honored me to include two of my encaustic works in the book, along with works of other encaustic friends: Antonin Sedlacik from Canada, Carol Roland from UK, and Frithjof Schulte from Germany.
